This week some of the children have been making flapjacks
Recipe:
125g butter
100g soft dark brown sugar
250g oats
40g sultanas
4 tablespoons of golden syrup

In a pan melt the better, sugar and syrup once melted stir in the oats and sultanas then pour into a baking tin. Bake for 30 mins at 180c or gas mark 4.

Over the next few weeks all the children in nursery will have a chance of making some.

Pancakes

The nursery children really enjoyed making and tasting pancakes on Tuesday and Wednesday and have loved playing outside in the lovely sunny weather we have been having.
